Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is an action-adventure platformer game in the Jak and Daxter series of video games developed by Naughty Dog. It is the quickest and easiest game in that series to platinum, thanks to the fact that the game's precursor orbs are not trapped behind very difficult challenges (and instead are just left out lying around in the open) and also the fact that the game itself is just easier than its sequels (Jak 2 and Jak 3). It was originally released for Playstation 2 but is also available for the Playstation 3 and Vita as a high-definition remaster, and for the Playstation 4 via high-definition emulation. It was offered as a free Playstation Plus game in Europe in November 2013.
The game follows the protagonist, Jak, as he tries to help his friend Daxter after he transforms into an ottsel (a fictional hybrid of an otter and a weasel). With the help of Samos the Sage, the pair learn that they must save their world from the antagonists Gol and Maia, who plan to flood it with Dark Eco. The game offers a large range of missions and minigames as well as puzzles and platform elements that the player must complete to proceed.
Step 1: Play through the gameEdit
First, just play through the game. If you are playing the Vita version of the game, there are two missable trophies that you should watch out for: Hand Over Fish and Hungry? , but otherwise you can play the game however you like without worrying about trophies. No trophies are missable in the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game.
Step 2: Collectibles and clean-upEdit
