|List of Trophies|
Axiom Verge is an independent retro-styled 2D sidescrolling Metroidvania heavily influenced and modeled after the original Metroid game. The player controls Trace, a scientist who, after suffering a crippling injury, wakes up in an ancient and high-tech world. The game focuses on action and exploration, and like most Metroidvanias, it features numerous collectibles to find and trophies for completing the game in numerous different ways, such as a speed run (Speedrunner , with very few items collected (Low % ), or without dying (Mostly Invincible ).
Step 1: Play through the game on Hard difficulty and get all collectiblesEdit
First, play through the game on Hard difficulty (which is required for Hard ) and try to get most trophies. You should be aiming to explore the entire map and find all secrets and collectibles. Also keep an eye out for the handful of missable trophies, focusing special attention on Hacker .
Step 2: Speed run the game on Normal difficulty, getting few itemsEdit
Now do the opposite of what you did on the first playthrough. Play the game in Speedrun Mode and try to earn each of the following trophies:
- Low % – complete the game with less than 40% of the items
- Overclocked – complete the game in less than 4 hours
- Mostly Invincible – complete the game without dying
If you miss any of these trophies, just do another playthrough in order to get them.
